CONNECTICUT — Town Clerks across Connecticut are offering an easier way to renew dog licenses through a new website developed by IQS.
Dog registration season is one of the busiest times of the year for Town Clerks. And with many government offices closing to the public due to COVID-19, IQS understood the urgency of creating an easier way to process tag renewals.
“We are always looking for ways to help our customers serve the public more efficiently,” said Brian Owens, VP Sales.
IQS worked with 20 cities and towns across Connecticut to integrate the new website for this year’s renewal season.
Dog owners can look up their registrations on any device and pay through an easy-to-use website.
Time is saved on the Clerk’s end, too. The website calculates all fees and seamlessly updates all information in the Solution software.
Town Clerks can quickly process online dog registrations through a queue, assigning tag numbers and printing licenses with one click.
“I love the online dog licensing program,” said Kim Garvis, Durham, CT Town Clerk. “It’s so much easier and quicker to process dog licenses. It’s a great service for our customers, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.”
The online renewal service is available to IQS customers at no charge.
